Thanks Gene, the neighbors are great here. I would rather need binoculars to see the neighbors, but that will come in time. If you need to live in the burbs, this isn't a bad place.

It's nice to finally have a nice truck. The Dodge was nice when I first got it, but it was much older and didn't like it's first Upstate NY winter at all. It broke out in rust bubbles all over and never recovered.

This Ford should hopefully fare better. I got to take a short drive yesterday. I must say, I like all the features I thought I would want. The double moon roof is much nicer than I thought it would be. I had a moon roof on my Trailblazer years ago and loved it. The cooled leather seats are a VERY neat feature. There is an upgraded Sony music system in there somewhere that is almost as good as headphones.

As far as getting dirty, that happened yesterday as I drove in some rain. It's going to work and play. It is going to tow the boat and the landscaping trailer from time to time. The hitch cover replaces my green John Deere cover.

Al, I want to, but I haven't had time to go on a pleasure ride yet. I got on the highway yesterday and was surprised at how much power I had. I was getting on after work, so there was rush hour traffic and no room to run.

Soon, soon...........

I took lunch and went to the local Ziebart. They had a special for undercoating and complete body rust and corrosion proofing. I was going to order my tonneau cover through them, but they couldn't source it. The bonus was they will install it for free when it arrives when I order it. The warranty promises 10 years rust and corrosion free. Once a year touch ups. I picked Peragon for the tonneau. www.peragon.com/

Al, I just may get to kick the turbos after work. I'll keep you posted.

Al, wow, consider the turbos kicked. What power. I couldn't believe I was driving a pick up. I was at 80 mph at the end of the on ramp with more power to go.

I went to camp this weekend for a family memorial to my fiance's cousin. He passed last year out in Wyoming, his adopted home land. His ashes were brought home for burial.

The drive to camp was a pleasure. I passed a slow vehicle just like would have with my old truck. I had to back off because I had passed them so quickly I didn't need anymore. Wow. I'm going to love this truck. By the way. 21.something combined mileage. Mostly highway, but not all. With a few kicks here and there.

Now can you imagine how good the Raptor runs with that same engine. Ours are 365hp with 425ft lbs of torque. The Raptor the new one is 450 hp with 525 ft lbs of torque. It will flat eat up the old v-8 Raptor. Al

I was able to tow the boat this weekend. It was much different than with the old truck. Plenty of power. When I took the boat out of the water, I put it in tow/haul mode. It was noticeably different.

I got great mileage overall. 20.5 mpg in mixed driving.

Al, I love those turbos. I passed two slow pokes while going uphill!
