Question for those who are considering buying a BEX

Post by JEBar » Mon Apr 22, 2024 3:21 pm

If you were to purchase one of Mark's reverse trikes what do you see as your major uses for it ????

for us, it would be a knock around and recreational vehicle to help keep mileage off of our other vehicles ..... at our ages, that could easily extend the years of service from our 2024 Blazer and 2011 Chevy Silverado to where we will not have a need to purchase another 4 wheel vehicle .... while doing so it would save us a considerable amount in fuel cost

Per Mark BEX ....

I am literally over traveling sorting out different aspects to make the BEX a reality, wearing me down a bit, and then in the middle of last night my Bro-in-Law passed away, so a 8 hour round trip leaving at 3am this morning to get my wife who was working in another city.

Arcimoto's failure is another blow to reverse trikes, but makes me even more determined to get a result, so it is still the priority in my life, hang in there despite the lack of updates :-)

And I do want brands like Arcimoto to succeed as it creates confidence in the vehicle type, oh well.

I'm not sure that I would have a use for a vehicle such as this in the northeast. It would do fine in the warmer months, but I'm not sure what it would do for me in the snow. I'm sure a lot will sell if it comes to fruition and works as expected. I see a lot more of the exotic type motorcycle based vehicles on the roads lately.

its enclosed cab with a standard car cabin heater and AC would make it practical for year round use but it is most certainly not a vehicle designed for use in deep snow .... with its price point, baring something totally unexpected, we believe having one will probably eliminate our need to ever buy another new car or truck

Thanks.

To me, that's an enclosed Motorcycle.

And I don't even believe in Small Compact Cars, lol.

Ouch on the price too.

I believe I would pass.

the Elio reverse trike in the video is the inspiration for the BEX .... Paul Elio (the man behind it) literally wasted hundreds of thousands of dollars in developing it .... it will never be built .... the fellow behind the BEX is Australian and lives in China .... he's not taken a penny, rather is funding it by himself .... his target price is $10,000 and from all reports he's still on that track .... it is a niche market and at that price I believe it will do well
