Have had some "fun" times through Atlanta on the way to central FL. Wish you a safe and uneventful passage.

355.7 miles / 6 hr 25 min after leaving Heritage we are setup at Sherling Lake .... biggest delay was at our fuel stop where 8 lanes of pumps were backed up 6 to 8 trucks deep waiting to take on fuel .... I don't ever recall a longer wait to at a truck stop .... worst traffic was around Atlanta, no surprise there .... all in all, a wonderfully boring drive .... the tree shown beside our camper prevents our roof mounted satellite dish from locking onto a signal .... as can be seen in the third picture we put our our portable Carryout 2+ portable dish .... this is the first time we've used it at a campsite .... tomorrow's drive to the Baton Rouge KOA is projected to cover 314 mi and take approximately 4 h 26 min ... .we do have a fuel stop planned just before we leave Alabama

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Boring drive is good, much better than having any trouble. Of course, unless you like the challenge!
Hope you're bored on this next leg. Or stayed occupied by working on your "adjusts to CTZ."

Be safe.

wishes for a boring days drive are most certainly appreciated .... over the years we've experience more "interesting" or "exciting" things take place while we were traveling .... today's drive is almost all on interstate highways where I pick a lane, set the cruise and ride ;)

329.1 miles covered in 5 hr 22 min after leaving Sherling Lake, we are setup in the Baton Rouge KOA .... thankfully, no excitement involving us, did see a couple pulled over in Mississippi who blew by us like we were in reverse .... our Garmin started having memory lapses about about 2 hours before we got to Baton Rouge .... even on wide open road it couldn't keep locked onto satellites .... years ago we had one do that and I remembered calling Garmin customer service who told me how to make it have a hard reset .... naturally, my memory of the details wasn't too clear .... YouTube to the rescue and the good news is, she's reset .... it now quickly locks onto multiple satellites with the only opening to the sky being through the window by my chair .... the bad news is, it put it back into New Out Of The Box conditions .... the memory of all of our saved addresses was wiped clean .... oh well, they are calling for a rainy spell right after we get to Lake Conroe .... reprogramming the addresses will give me something to do

today is scheduled our 4th consecutive and last travel day or 3 weeks .... today's drive to Thousand Trails Lake Conroe in Willis, TX should cover about 294 miles and take about 4 hr 25 min .... we have one planned stop on tap, that being at the I-10 Texas Welcome Center .... about half of our drive will be on two lane Texas HWY with is a very good road with many (if not most) stretches having a 65 or better speed limit .... happy to see no rain in today's forecast
