I was wondering where Evans sits, so googled it up. I was pleasantly surprised to see that you are close to Greeley. My oldest sister was born there in the Catholic Hospital in early January 1950. Dad worked on a seismograph team for DowWell. Mom didn't much care for Colorado winters. I was born 3 years later in TEXAS! Have a good trip back home.

Yes Evans is like a suburb of Greeley yet it does have its own city hall ect. Actually my back fence is on the Greeley city limit line. Where are you at in Texas? Ive been in the Greeley area for about 40 years.

I came back to my home town,Gainesville. We are the last town on I-35N before you get to the Red River into Oklahoma. I had a cousin that made his living building custom cabinets in Steamboat Springs. We hunted elk up by Rifle. Some good times. He is now in Nebraska near where his Dad's folks lived. I have always enjoyed Colorado, friendly people, magnificent scenery. Age and old football injuries took their toll.
