Woodinville, WA to Necedah, WI
I'm leaving for Necedah, WI early Wednesday morning to pick up my Raindrop trailer. I hope to visit North Country Gal also. It would be a shame to drive 1,800 miles and not drive another 160 to see Joanie and Bill.
Expect to see pictures going out and coming back. I'll be taking my camera, laptop and Jetpack for the internet.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I'll be leaving in less than 24 hours. All systems are go. I did have one problem. My phone went dead and would not turn on but it came on this morning. It has done it once before. Weather looks okay to travel. Not great but okay.

Re: Woodinville, WA to Necedah, WI
I'm beat. Two days of white knuckle driving but I made it. I can drive fine in the snow. It's all the other crazy drivers that gets to me. The snow was the worst going over the divide but very few cars on the car.
I'm going to bed.
Then further down the road I came to a halt.
The traffic was detoured around this. Twenty miles of side road took over three hours.
But today started nice.
The good news is I averaged 32.1 mpg for 1,523.2 miles at this point. By the time I arrived at Necedah it was up to 32.6 mpg. They advertise it only gets 29. I drove 564 miles on one tank of gas and even had 70 miles of gas left when I filled it up.
I'll be picking the trailer up tomorrow morning. I'm staying in a motel for the night. Two nights of sleeping in the car was enough. On Saturday I'll drive 160 miles north and visit Joanie and Bill for a half day. The weather doesn't look too good but it doesn't look too bad either and I'm looking forward to meeting North Country Gal.I'm going to bed.

I remember those days well in the truck and I dont miss them a bit. 18 hours and when you get somewhere you feel like you have been hit in the forehead with a ball pein hammer. Every Subaru I ever owned exceeded the gas mileage on there sticker. If I was to go buy another car right now and didnt need a pick up it would be hands down another Subaru. They are great cars.
