Class A motor home
Re: Class A motor home
That is nice, should be as it costs as much as some of the places you were looking at in Nebraska. You could find some acreage to set up a sewer, water and power hook up and maybe a garage/shop for a home base if you didn't want to travel full time.
I'm definitely no expert but based on my limited knowledge I would think a motor home of that size would require at least a 50amp 220 service. Would that limit the number of places you could camp?

It’s 50 amp 110 and most places have that. Some older campgrounds only offer 30 amp service along with a 20 amp. Funny I was just thinking of Nebraska because it’s centrally located.dave77 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 05, 2021 10:09 pmThat is nice, should be as it costs as much as some of the places you were looking at in Nebraska. the reason for the pricing is no slide out which reduces the size of the potential resale market .... the amount of living space required is an individual choice ..... if it meets your wants/needs, it could be worth considering .... at a minimum I'd recommend you pay a good mobile tech to give it a once over (specially tires) and ask about a maintenance record

The London Air is by Newmar which closed up this year. Well, actually Winnebago purchased them.
It's a really nice unit.
It's your money but I think you want at least two slides. We had a MH with no
slides for a dozen years and it was cramped.

I wish I had time to have a mechanic check one out. I like no slides if I’m just part time. If I’m going to be full time I want something nice. My biggest problem now is time. I’m simple running out of it and will have to make a decision based on what I see.JEBar wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 8:31 amthe reason for the pricing is no slide out which reduces the size of the potential resale market .... the amount of living space required is an individual choice ..... if it meets your wants/needs, it could be worth considering .... at a minimum I'd recommend you pay a good mobile tech to give it a once over (specially tires) and ask about a maintenance record

the one in your link is for sale by an individual .... hopefully the owner who knows his coach .... using your instincts, if you believe him/her to be honest, he can give you some useful info .... do you have friend you can trust who experience owning/using a motorhome

When I was looking at homes I had the agent take pictures of all the flaws. Sometimes you see the glamour and miss the stain in the middle of the carpet. If you take a picture and turn it upside down the flaws often stand out.JEBar wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 11:50 amthe one in your link is for sale by an individual .... hopefully the owner who knows his coach .... using your instincts, if you believe him/her to be honest, he can give you some useful info .... do you have friend you can trust who experience owning/using a motorhome
