Schrade Hunter

Post by daytime dave » Sat Dec 03, 2016 11:40 am

Ranch Roper's knives reminded me I had a knife like his folder. Sure enough, a USA made faux stag folding hunter.

I think it came from Ebay. I really like the folding hunter, especially in a sheath.

Here are some photographs. I tried a new lens device for my Iphone, it has 2 macros plus wide angle and fish eye.

It's really a nice knife. It needs to be cleaned up. It came with a sheath too.

Very nice Schrade blade.
And I especially like the photo with the "USA" showing on the blade. The light to dark (L-->R) shadows look really cool.

Cool, mine is the 127UH. "UH" stands for Uncle Henry, and brand name they hung on a series of knives including the bowies. That's a beauty DD.

Love that Old Timer. I just dug my wool knickers out for the winter and found my lower case kabar in the pocket.

I love it when you find one of your long lost knives. Somewhere either on my property, pair of jeans, or floorboard of my pickup or SXS, one of my favorite folders is missing. Haven't seen it for a couple of months. Its a pretty nice SOG, with the belt clip adjuster. Its what I USED to use while deer hunting. Its a good field dress folder, and pretty good skinning blade.
