UP TO $100 off all Henry's through March 8th.

I noticed that Henry has come out with a plethora of engraved and tribute Long Rangers, news to me anyway.

I went down that "on sale " road with S W. Never again. Not in stock, went downhill from there. Bought elsewhere. Long story I explained when I first came on the forum. Won't bore you with it again.

By knocking off the $100, they get down to the reg price of most everyone else.
Bet my gun shop can still beat their price.

Typical knock 100.00 off suggest list and make a big sale out of it. People that are looking at guns all the time know those prices are just a come on.

.
Also, sale prices advertised on their website aren't the prices in the store. To get the sale price, you have to place the order from their webstore for instore pickup and then when you get to the register you have to pay attention to what they ring up. I was not happy the first time I encountered this. Its a bit of a drive from my house to the nearest store.

My preference for buying gun stuff is from the local Coastal Farm store. They have a horrible gun page website, but the instore gun desk is huge with a good variety of firearms and accessories.

Our Coastal Farm and Ranch has a good selection but they never seem to have what I'm looking for in stock. They did have a Shield EZ my friend likes, she's left handed and has carpal tunnel in her right hand but had no problems working the slide on the EZ. I like that the EZ doesn't have the 2-piece trigger that the standard Shield has, I had on one a M&P I once had and hated it.

I've bought most of my guns at a locally owned hardware store, they have a huge selection of guns and prices are reasonable.

They're Oregon/Washington. Closest stores to central North Carolina would be Bend OR and then Wenatchee WA. Almost 2700 miles.
