LG Outdoors

Post by JEBar » Wed May 24, 2017 11:03 pm

I've recently bought some items from LG Outdoors === http://www.lg-outdoors.com/default.asp === during our short time of dealing with them, we have been impressed .... they have a most impressive range of products and their prices (at least for what I've purchased) have been as good or better than other more widely known outfits ... I've also been impressed by the fact that they had in stock, an item that wasn't available from sources like Midway ... they have lived up to their promised handling and shipping of our order .... if/when the need arrives, we will deal with them again

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I'm sure that they offer some items that can be bought cheaper elsewhere, no such company has the lowest prices on everything .... as an example, the last product I ordered from them was two boxes of Barnes Buster Bullet .45/70 Government Caliber .458" Diameter 400 Grain Flat Nose Flat Base bullets .... Midway hasn't had them in stock for over a year and list their price as $59 a box === http://www.midwayusa.com/product/550668 ... -box-of-50 === Cheaper Than Dirt has them in stock and list their price as $62 a box === https://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product ... 6458844.do === LG Outdoors is now out of them (the service person I talked with said more are on order), I paid them $53 a box

UPDATE :

I still believe that LG is a solid company and wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again .... that said, we've found it still is wise to shop around .... they have restocked Barnes Buster 400 gr bullets and their posted price is now $56.99 .... that increase brings their price in line with many of their competitors .... however, in looking at Brownell's site, their price per box is the same but where LG list a charge of $22.62 for shipping, they charge $7.95 .... with such a large difference, on this item we would order from Brownell
