Here's my newest Deere. It's John Deere X758, shaft driven snow blower, 4X4 and diesel. It should be just the ticket for a 600' driveway!

that is one sharp looking rig, it should serve you well .... do they make a cab for it ? .... I've seen such rigs in use where the snow is blown to where the driver comes out looking like Frosty

Nice, the snowblower looks very similar to the one I had at work, my Deere wasn't 4WD but it would still move a lot of snow. Get some aerosol snowplow wax and spray it down, especially the chute, really helps to keep it from clogging up when you have wet, slushy snow.

Here's mine, my driveways not that long but I also have to plow a path to the hay shed to feed the goats, decided a couple of years ago I was getting too old to shovel that much snow. Tractor and plow are pretty small but it can move a surprising amount of snow.

I just bought a large capacity walk behind; it moves lots of snow. Although the regular 50mph Alberta wind usually takes my driveway down to the gravel. Those are nice tractors.

That's a great tractor. It should do the job on a large driveway like you have. Diesel, shaft drive, you can't beat it.

You may need some weight in the rear, time will tell. Keep us posted as you get snow.

Without a cab, use goggles. That snow can come back at you at the worst times. I have a walk behind with a removable screen. I use the goggles if I don't use the screen.

I wondered about weight too, the Deere I had at work was set up for hanging weights on the back rather than on the wheels, nice feature, I have to remove the wheel weights on mine to get to the valve stems. Also wondered if you will put chains on, even with 4WD they would be helpful.

Nice Deere! You'll be amazed at how much snow a tractor mounted blower will move. you will also learn about being a human popsickle without a cab of some sort.

x2 on the weight and chains. All that snow blower hanging off the front will make the rear end light!

My Cub has windshield washer fluid filled tires in all 4 corners and 50lb wheel weights on each rear wheel. It helps a lot!

I have an 85' drive and about 3/10 of a mile long private road to keep open.

And of course sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do!

Around here, on the rare times it snows enough to actually accumulate, the sun will take care of it later today, or tomorrow. Everything will be closed when it snows anyway, so no need to go outside, other than to play in the snow.

I do have what they call suitcase weights for the back. It adds 252lbs., but I'm going to wait and see if I need them on. They add another foot or more to the length.
