My coolest garden tractor so far

Post by daytime dave » Sun Nov 06, 2016 1:42 am

Several years ago, I purchased my coolest garden tractor so far. I had always wanted one, but never saw one for sale in any good distance. One day I saw it for sale on Craigslist. I paid 800 or 900 for it. It has a front mounted mower, snow blower and several other goodies.

It is an Elec Trak 20. It was designed and made in the late 60's by General Electric. It is way ahead of it's time.

Very sharp tractor, Dave! And a great collection of photos, too.
This GE could become a full-time hobby for you all by itself! ;)

I never knew General Electric made a tractor. Learn something new every day.

You had the subject "my coolest garden tractor so far."
So do you have any tractors in sight that would be cooler?

Now that is a cool tractor. I could use one with a front bucket.

There are a few out there. I almost bid on one, but it had a problem with one of the loader arms. They made a loader for it.

I have a rear sleeve hitch and have plowed a bit with it. There is also a roto tiller too.

Really neat tractor. It would be fun to make it all do the work for you.
