Bought this 22hp Husqvarna 46" mower last summer, mainly for the lawns and various jobs around my son's place. It runs great but I did hit a stump and had to replace a broken mandrel.
The Henry Connection. They both start with "H" and they like orange.
This is my 2001 craftsman LT-1000 19.5 hp, 42" cut. I picked it up for $200 in non-running condition and after replacing the deck cable, two mandrel and cleaning the main jet it runs great and it just got a new starter and battery.
Bought this Craftsman 13.5 hp new around 1988 or so and sold it off in 2008 still running great.
The only other tractor I had was a blue and white Craftsman 14 hp that I bought new around 1971. It was built by Roper and I wish I still had that one.
I love getting these old tractors back in running shape and would love to pick up something local but it's risky to buy something not running because it could cost big bucks for a new engine or transaxle.
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry

Re: My tractors
A few years ago I had decided on a Husky tractor to replace my dying Craftsman. As it turns out, my sister's MIL passed and I bought her husbands craftsmans from the estate.
Those are three great lawn tractors danwin.
I will be driving around on mine, enjoying a few Miller Lites making the final cut next weekend.
That is a good day driving around your own property cutting grass. Follow it up with a BBQ with friends and it doesn't get much better.
Hey, what am I doing sitting here typing

Re: My tractors
Unless you lose an engine or transaxle you can keep those old Craftsman Mowers running forever. Parts are easy to find online and I usually get the part number and then plug it into Amazon for great prices. Husqvarna made my Craftsman LT-1000.
