tad,

Please show us. Dad has three antique JD's. Two B's, one fly wheel start and one electric and a 40. We used them up until he bought three diesel Mahindra's. At least the Mahindra's start. Lol. :D
Dave - here you go - smartphone pics of some of our Johnny 2 poppers - 1936 "A", 1954 "40", 1957 "520W", and 1957 "720W". They all ran about 5 yrs ago when I parked em in the barn. I've been building a log cabin since then and haven't had much time to tinker with them. Probably about time to get them out and running again...

Great looking Deeres. Your 40 has much more paint than dad's. It looks great, they all do as a matter of fact.

Great JD's you have not been on a tractor till you have blisters from that fly wheel, I have had many blister on my Hands not to mention those on my back racking hay all day with no shirt. When you are out all day then come into that cool milk house and suddenly you realize what you have done.

I have to say I'm not partial, I like them all.

Dad had Farmalls with his father on the farm. He still has a Super A they bought together. He bought his John Deeres since then.

No blisters on the fly wheel so far.

Guess I will have to get a picture of my 550 Oliver.
Maybe tomorrow, plowing snow , from the sounds of the weatherman.
