My early 3 digit serial number 45-70 came with a really good trigger right out of the box - odd, I know - so I was kinda hoping it might not need the work. The .243 is OK, too, but It's not so good that I'll mind upgrading it, and the more recent 30-30 and my SIL's .308 needed trigger pull weight reduction. I switched trigger springs on both, but wound up putting back the original in the .308, due to its failure to fire a couple times when it got colder. So I guess I'll plan to put the original spring back in the 30-30, too. I'll be interested to see what the upgrade is like.
