Warranty repair Poll READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE VOTING

Post by John E Davies » Wed Mar 18, 2020 1:10 pm

This poll is for the LATEST REPAIR that you have had done in the last few years, not any older ones, possibly from many years ago. One forum member gets to fill out the poll one time only. For those of you who have had a gun repaired, please indicate:

Type: Rimfire or Centerfire. ANSWER ONLY ONE CHOICE

Number of calendar days (approximately) it took to complete the repair AFTER the gun was received by Henry. (Do not include any UPS transit times since these are wildly variable!): 1-3 days, 4-10 days, more than 10 days. ANSWER ONLY ONE CHOICE

Satisfied/ Dissatisfied: ANSWER ONLY ONE CHOICE

I hope we can gather some useful info in one place. Polls are really tricky to set up. When there are multiple answers possible, the percentages get skewed badly compared to a poll where you can only answer one question. It is more useful to just compare the number of responses....

Feel free to add details or comments below. And if you hate polls, say so below and don't bother voting ;)

Thanks for participating!

Edit: you do not have to vote to see the results.

Can't vote whether I'm satisfied or not as it was just shipped back today. I'll let you know after I take it to the range......which may be after all this covid-19 affair is over.

Nope. But I have had swag offered as an outcome from emailed questions. I haven't accepted any of it.

I did receive a free scope mount for the BBS a few years back.
Called one morning asking about them and which one I needed.
Must of been the lucky caller for the day.
As she asked for my address and says I'll have one sent right out.
Asked what do I owe you, she said nothing.

No worries, repairs are still happening. My BBX .44Mag has just been shipped back to me, after a TWO day turnaround. Which considering the virus stuff going on, is pretty amazing. I hope they fixed it.... I would hate to find a note in the box saying, “Hold onto it for a while until we all get better.... then send it back.” ;)

I have 6 Henry rifles. Only had a problem with 1 of them. It took several weeks as Henry re-engineered the way the inner magazine tube was fastened. The rifle was one of the first 4000 manufactured in that caliber.
