that is a solid review, enjoyed reading it .... I wouldn't trade any of our Henry rifles for one with a side loading gate .... should they expand the number of lines with a slide loading gate and I was in the market for another rifle, I'd certainly give them a good look

One person in the comments section commented on the checking being cheap. Maybe he should look around at some others whose checkering looks alot worse than Henrys. Which I dont think looks bad at all.

A lot of attention to detail in that write up. A blow up view of the checkering, looks crisp and clean to me. Not a fan of the "Henry" on fore stock.
