Texas Tribute Edition Rifle

Post by Koyote » Fri Nov 15, 2019 12:29 pm

Got an email that Henry is putting out a Texas Tribute Edition Rifle. It is a .22 for $900+.
Good marketing ploy. I can see Henry putting one out for various states, except CA, MA, NY, etc....you know, the usual.
All they have to do is slap on different cloisonne's on them with the respective states that they would issue.

It is kind of like cars that different manufacturers have produced with names specific to states. Ex: California Special, Colorado, etc.
If priced high enough, I suppose that would make them viable to Henry, otherwise, don't see the need to limit oneself.
If there is enough demand though I can see requests for the TX rifle be issued in other calibers.
I want Henry to be successful so they can issue a special edition rifle in what I would like so the prices can come down, way down!

They have quite a few of those tribute rifles now. I can see collectors going for them for sure. Maybe not your everyday truck back window rifle.

I don't care for any of the tribute rifles, except the Oilman. It looks tastefully well done.

Agreed. But I don't really care for all those tribute rifles.
That goes for the Henrys, Marlins, or Winchesters.
I like working guns, not dolled up show pieces.
All of mine go to the woods at some point in time.

I agree, why have a gun you can't shoot?
