I found the magazine eject button hard to press deep enough, so I added a small rubber foot. Adds about 1/8" in height to the button. Before and after picture here. http://henryrifleforums.com/viewtopic.p ... er#p105773

I suspect one of the reasons Henry (and Browning) only developed small cap mags for these rifles is because they are designed as a hunting rifles and a lot of states have ammo capacity limits when hunting big game. Oregon is five rounds for example but that is for a box magazine only.
If the rifle can carry more due to a fixed magazine (such as a fixed box or closed tube lever action) then the limit does not apply.
