Re: Ammo Land Review
Great article on the Henry side gate. Owning a 35 Rem Marlin since the mid 80's with its side gate tubular feed I kinda like the drop tube feed rather than the side gate. I am planning on buying a Henry 30-30 sometime this coming spring and am very happy to hear they shoot so well. My 35 and I have taken a few southern whitetails with DRT single shots using 200 gr. core lokt hand loads. I recommend the 35 Rem to deer hunters without a second thought. It has great performance and a very mild recoil. Here lately its been hard to find Rem 200 core lokt's in 35 cal. But the brass is plentiful and there are a number of good 35 bullets out there to choose from. My Marlin likes Win 748 powder to push my bullets and that available as well.

I like 'em a lot, enough that I own three.
