Yes, that is my goal, unfortunately, in a relatively small amount of time. Thanks Ed.
Well, do your best.
I am currently 'unaffiliated' as in wife or girlfriend and quite frankly live sort of a 'mountain man' existence IE - rural area. small house adorned with antiques, guns all over and other 'stuff' but I understand your need to allocate time accordingly and do NOT allow any outside influence take you away from range time!

I think the plan you have is best you can do if you can’t take your normal kit. If you are pulling a 4-wheeler on a trailer, is it possible to secure your kit into a crate on the trailer?
That is a good suggestion PW. Would have to make sure everything is waterproof though. 4-wheeler does take up most of the trailer. Maybe underneath.

Think about the tackle box idea.
You can cram a lot of gun maintenance stuff in it as well as parts, oil & solvent bottles, etc.
Any regular shooter should have one.
I'll post a pic of mine soon!

I would take at minimum a cleaning rod, bore brush, solvent, few patches, screwdrivers to fit sideplates, etc. Don't plan on cleaning until you return home...

But if you get caught in the rain, have a squib load, stumble and drop a firearm, or need to tighten something... You won't be wishing you had brought just a few things.

.
You'll be fine leaving the cleaning stuff at home. Take a pick or small screw driver to clear any mis-feeds or jams, just in case.

Small can of Ballistol/solvent, bore snakes is great idea, couple of appropriately sized screwdrivers, rags, deluxe range towels (natch!), silicone cloth. She'll never know it's there...
