I got two and I wouldn't.

I tend to side with Vaquero. If you have a Ballard rifling Marlin in .35 Rem, KEEP IT! You won't find those everyday.

When I do get one, I'll then have all 3 in 30-30.

Winchester Model 94
Marlin Texan
And soon to be Henry

I now have a renewed interest in a 30-30, my favorite caliber.
Mine also - I think I'll just start shooting the three I own more!

336 Ballard 35 Rem would have to be pre 53 +- or an xlr.

This company never stops trying to please. I remember long ago writing to them about a Big Boy that was more suited to hunting. One with sling studs, a blued finish and tapped for a scope. Well Im sure I wasnt the only one who desired that style. There was many people clamoring for that rifle. They didn't care for the bling of the brass version for a hunting rifle. It was about 6years later the BBS appeared. And now the BBS is one of their most popular models.
They are just a good ,responsive American company....period..

As much as I am glad they did this, I don't really need another 30-30, 5 here already.
35 Remington's, 3 of those already, even though one is not a lever gun.
Now an Octagon barreled 35, maybe.
The 38-55 I haven't a need for it even thought it is cool.
And it could make getting brass for those that do a little easier, not that I know if that is a problem.
If the 35's aren't enough , I have a pair of 444's.
My next rifle, IF I buy another, will most likely be a Henry Original in 45 Colt.

.
I don't need another .30-30 either, so if they do come out with a side-gate with an octagon barrel I'd likely sell the one I have to buy it.

NO!
I wouldn't even consider that.
My .35 is a Remlin, bought last year.

Seems like a fine rifle, and took a 6 point buck and 2 does on it's first season out in the woods, but I don't think it would be a match for the Henry.
