I quit that group yesterday, after its "leader" (whether a self-appointed admin or not is not clear) started a disturbing thread about how amusing it is to fire a "warning shot" into the ground just to see potential intruders run off into his thorny bushes (a post which has since been removed, as I understand it).
Exactly the kind of chatter that gets firearms pages banned from FB and I wanted to be no part of it. HRA would be appalled, I would think.

There is nothing to indicate that guy is a 'leader' , admin etc. - just an egotistical loudmouth member whose post got deleted.

Makes you wonder who is running that circus, then, doesn't it? No matter his role, your description fits! I'll never know, as I'm done with them...

I don't know exactly how a FB 'group' gets created but it's probably not too difficult due to the sheer number of them. I am a member of a couple of local ones - one called 'Oregon Firearm Advocates' has 82,000 + members. It's mostly politically based however.
With regard to the Henry family group I'll probably pop in once in a while - I like the variety and some of the pics & stories and like anything I won't let one arrogant loudmouth influence my decision to stay or go - heck all forums and groups have them......

Gotta agree with Travelin. Want nothing to do with it or Twitter.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
