My Henry Collection

Post by deano5150 » Sun Jan 27, 2019 7:56 pm

My collection consists of a Golden Boy 22LR, a Big Boy Steel Carbine 357 magnum, a Big Boy Brass 357 magnum and a pink t-shirt. For you, Mags. :D

Just the best! So far, I don't own any in the same caliber. How do you use the two 357s differently, if at all?

Bold use of a pink garment, too!

ESquared, all of my Henry’s are for plinking and casual target shooting. I have taken a squirrel with the 22LR, though. I love my 357 Brass but I thought the shorter, lighter Steel Carbine would be nice, too. The flat black finish eliminates the glare I get with the Brass model in bright sunlight. Also, the rubber buttpad sticks to my shoulder better than the brass plate. I chose 357 for both simply because it’s cheaper to shoot than the other cartridges available.

Those are all fantastic reasons for having the two. If I were to ever own two of the same caliber, it would be the 357 as well!

Take the carbine. The brass scares the deer away.
