I can agree. The numbers may not be straightforward. As one author put it, the numbers can be viewed many ways and hard to verified. I just view it as a gauge of our Country. Kind of gives an idea of which citizens are open to firearms.

Usually they give a margin of error to this type of thing of +/- 3or5%....but on this they'd probably only give a margin of accuracy +/- 3or5%
It's pointlessly ridiculous to base stats on "registered guns" when other than Federal NFA, just a couple of states register some/all guns. Even in States that passed such un-constitutional laws in the past few years won't have a remotely accurate count for generations.
