I have owned a M1 carbine, Mini 14, Rossi Puma, Winchester 94, Mossberg 464 and now the Big Boy steel .357. The first did not have enough punch, the second I had to sell, the third was hard to load, the fourth completely worn out when I got it used, the fifth would not repeatedly cycle even new. This Henry is my "one gun", chosen over even an AR15. Get one when you get the chance.

The absolute beautiful aesthetics of the Big Boy 357 All Weather. That it functions as good as it looks is just an added bonus.

Nothing. Each of mine have there uniqueness, merits and purpose that allows them to liked equally separately.
Apples and Oranges. For example Henry .30-30 vrs Mossberg .410. They are each unique and likeable unto themselves.

For my BBB, it has to do with the smoothness of the action as compared to 2 Rossi's and a Marlin; all in 357 Magnum. No comparison, and one of the Rossi's was a early version with the puma medallion in the side of the receiver and we'll used/broken in. Next reason is the accuracy/ease of reaching this accuracy with the BBB over the other leverguns in 357 Magnum. Third is the fit and finish of the rifle, which is better than I deserve. And I am not sure if this should be fourth, or lumped on with fit and finish reason....the wood.

I have has zero quality problems with mine, and haven't wished for much else in a 357 levergun.

Now I do have a complaint about my 22 mag Henry, but I knew this coming in the door with it.....the plastic front sight. Otherwise it is just as good for me as the BBB.
