Yeah, the first part is kind of easy, just leave an inch of "fluid" in the can and shoot it 1/2 inch from the bottom, will go as high as 15 feet

Second part, hitting it at the apex, I can't practice :D

Personally find The New Original Henry a more compelling reproduction of the Henry rifle.

I am impressed with the quality and workmanship of the Henry Products, as well as the commitment to great Customer Service I had been looking at Henry rifles off and on for several years and finally picked up a .22 for the wife......was so impressed I picked up a Long Ranger 308 and another .22 for the wife......I think we both have the Henry Bug......LOL

I also am impressed with the OVERALL quality, workmanship and customer service of Henry Products.
However, I am not impressed with their new out of the box reliability/usability.

Not sure what has been happening to you but I am 3 for 3 with good shooters out of the box.

I used to own a Norinco lever action but when I attended a shooting match and one of the other competitors let me try his Henry Golden Boy, I was hooked and went to the gunshop and sold the Norinco and bought a Henry Small Game rifle. Next month, I will attend the first match with my Henry. Looking forward to it.

.
I'm happy to read that you got good ones :P. Unfortunately, there are plenty of posts on our forum here where new out-of-the-box Henry's were sent back for repair/replacement. I have 2 Henrys, both should have gone back for repair. My .30-30 should have gone back for the upgrade repairs for the mag tube and lever popping open during loading issues. But, decided I could live with those problems. My Long Ranger bolt would lockup/jamup solid and for that it was sent in for repair. It still randomly chokes on a cockeyed round in the receiver regardless of how authoritative the lever is exercised. Also the lift plate in the magazine comes up too high into the receiver and the bolt drags across the top of it producing gouges and metal shavings. The new magazine Henry CS sent me is no better height wise, but the lift plate is plastic so I don't get the metal shaving. Anyway, there's my rationale for poor new out-of-the-box reliability/usability.
