My BIG BOY 45 Long Colt

Post by Karl Fairburne » Tue Oct 23, 2018 10:53 pm

Lost it in the divorce. Because it was in her house the judge ruled it was her property. So now, I'm saving up for the new Henry Carbine. I hope it accepts 45 LC. I love shooting that caliber. Hopefully, I'll be ordering it before the New Year. :D

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Don't worry about the divorce. Ex-wife's are replaceable, (no offense to our fellow cowgirls in here) but OUCH on the 45LC. Big boy! Trying to replace a great rifle, now thats a different story, along with the sentimental value that rifle and you bonded together. Now thats a nightmare worth waking up for!! Man that post gave me the hibbie jibbies!! Truly sorry about your loss (rifle of course) but please post pics of your new Henry when you get it.

I was wondering if you had much barrel leading with the long colt. My old Ruger Blackhawk had leading.
