Looks like an AR-15 want-to-be to me.

link appreciated .... not as bad as I first feared .... I like the large lever on their tactical 45-70, might give them a call and see if I can order one for ours .... if I needed a tough rifle to throw in the back of the truck and haul into rough country, I'd be interested .... as to the .410, not so much

That's where I saw them, on Henry's instagram. I thought it would have been more wide spread.

Interesting preference "expressions" and opinions posted. Thread has turned almost into a poll:
~~~*SIGH*...
~~~"I am partial to wood."
~~~"Someone will like them, but it isn't me."
~~~"Yuck."
~~~"Looks like an AR-15 want-to-be..."
~~~"Dang, they copied Mossberg.....Nasty!"
~~~".... not as bad as I first feared ...."
On Instagram, Henry posted their Q"
So let us know, should we build it?
thefirearmblog article ended with this:
What do you think about them? if you’d like to see Henry make them let them know at their Instagram page.
Bottom line, it looks like Henry might be interested in acquiring a new niche into the "black gun world....." There doesn't seem to be any doubt that it is a booming market.
I guess I need to put in my two cents at the end of the day. Pretty easy for me......I absolutely love Henry wood or any beautiful wood for that matter. I think wood makes the sharpest-looking stock and forearm furniture for a lever-action rifle.
Have a good day, Everyone!
Actually it’s a ‘boom’ that is largely turning to ashes now.Bottom line, it looks like Henry might be interested in acquiring a new niche into the "black gun world....." There doesn't seem to be any doubt that it is a booming market.
Stainless and composite I can live with, but that tactical nonsense is a real turnoff for me. No thanks.
Not my thing, for sure. I sorta can see something like that for hard use, though (think with night vision sights for serious hog hunting). But I'd still want traditional configuration. At least they didn't try to stick a vertical pistol grip on there .
I like the black look of the lever action. Except for the stock. The ugly stock ruins the look of the rifle.
