I have a few $300 to $400 Henrys where I've dumped another $500 to $800 and still only have a $300 rifle.

That's very true for many of us and our firearms.

First of all, congratulations to HRA for donating such a beautiful rifle, and also to the buyer who contributed a superb $55K for charity.
I've also got several $200-300 rifles that have cost me two or three times that amount, but at the end of the day I don't care. Shooting is my hobby, and every hobby costs money. I just wish I could find a few $1000 rifles for $200, though.
