New henry’s report

Post by Tradmark » Sun Feb 11, 2018 8:22 pm

So i just got out and put a few hundred rounds thru my big boy carbine in 41 mag. Perfect rifle. It literally came sighted in which was nice. Added a scope and we did some shooting and were able to do some sub 4” groups offhand which means its accurate. At 100 yards of course! Feeds everything. Smooth as butter. Trigger could be lighter and has a little creep but will be a perfect companion for my daughter and her ruger 480 in africa this summer! Its such a nice rifle the day after my son bought a 44 mag carbine and my cousin bought a 357 mag version the next day! I guess thats telling enough.

Sweet! Glad you got to enjoy the smell of burnt powder. Sounds like you have a family Henry dynasty started.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Great stuff. A few hundred rounds of 41 mag in one sitting makes a dent in the ole wallet though! They sure ain't giving 41 away!

Henry's do have a way of multiplying like that!
