This is interesting timing for this post. I took my BBS out of the safe for the first time in a while today and noticed the stock was a little loose. I tightened the screw in the tang and its good as new. I'll keep an eye on mine as well.

After the first 60 or so rounds through my Henry 45-70 I too found the buttstock screw had come loose. A little blue Loctite and we're all good. Screws coming loose are bound to happen here and there with guns.
