Twist rate is often misunderstood and over-thought upon way to much. Typically however the heavier the bullet the better it performs with a faster twist rate and the lighter the bullet the slower the twist rate. There are 'overlaps' though and quite often a rifle with a faster twist rate will stabilize a greater range of weight than say one with the slower rate. Other factors can influence ANY stabilization such as velocity, caliber, bullet shape and elevation. Bottom line is for calibers in the lever action class of rifles I don't waste a lot of energy thinking about it and concentrate loading the most accurate loads for all of my rifles.
