Here is the bullet you can use if it is hexagon rifling . It was a sniper and target round in the civil war and still used today in long range shooting . :lol: The octagon rifling use round bullets in the black powder days in muzzle loader . :lol:

Love my 30-30 cch with octogon barrel. I think with me it is pure aesthetics. Have to admit at over 8 lbs, my repaired rotator cuff and the other one that needs repair don't appreciate walking the woods with it. As long as the eyes work with the semi-buckhorn rear, I won't be adding a scope and any more weight.
