Good on Henry customer service!

Post by tcpip95 » Tue Jan 11, 2022 12:52 pm

My new H024 in 45-70 had a cross-threaded screw on the top of the receiver where I was mounting my Skinner sight. The first 3 came out smoothly but the 4th snapped off. I was taking the gun to my gunsmith to have him install a muzzle brake so I also had him remove the busted screw. Naturally he’s going to charge me for the work.

Someone here suggested I call Henry and talk to them. They said “What can we do to make this right?” They couldn’t reimburse me for my costs, but they did allow me to pick from the HenryPride site for an amount equal to my cost to fix the rifle. Order was placed and the items are on their way to me.

That’s great customer service.

Well, at least did respond positively to your concern. That does go a long way. It is the service after the sell that keeps people coming back for more. Lot of companies seem to be chasing short term gains. But, it is the long game that keeps a customer for a lifetime. I only have one so far. Yet, it is always on the table for another one. For lack of better works, I consider my Henry like my Sunday go to meeting clothes. However, it shoots just fine all the other days of the week as well.

That's a new way to take care of the customer tcpip95. I like it. I haven't had very many experiences with the customer service crew, but they were always positive, fast and well taken care of. Yes, the initial quality of the rifles themselves with the added customer service made me a customer for life........ and a little bit more, lol.

I have 2 email repair requests in to them. I haven't heard a word. I know these aren't normal times, but any response would be encouraging.
