Further brass models?

Post by Wyobraska » Wed Jan 01, 2020 5:41 pm

I'm curious if Henry has had any info on expanding the brass options. Would love a single shot 243 in the brass. Wonder why those were the calibers selected.

Welcome to the forum from CT. Those are good questions that you should direct to Henry Repeating Arms Co. for an official answer. There's a link to their website at the top of this page. We don't have any inside information and can only speculate about what may come and most certainly appreciate what has already been produced.

Welcome to the forum glad you joined us. Not much has been mentioned about Single Shot news lately. I have heard though that there working on an improved trigger model.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Speculating here, I suspect that Henry will be chambering brass receiver rifles only in cartridges that are relatively low pressure rounds. I'm basing my speculation on what they've already produced. No brass receiver Long rangers, for example ;) . I'm sure that the brass versions are plenty strong for what they're using them for, just not quite as strong as steel. They sure are pretty, though :) .
