An Interesting Mod on a SS .357.
Saw this up for sale on another forum.
Shortened to 16", threaded and suppressor installed.
Not my 'cup of tea' but posted as something unique!

Well that's, um... something
Can't fault a guy or gal for modification to suit a purpose (or taste).
Weird as it looks, bet it's a lot of fun to shoot with cat sneeze loads!

One word comes to mind "FUGLY".
As fun or practical certain things maybe being FUGLY sometimes just aint worth it.
Do what you wish and it's your gun but that's just FUGLY!

I agree - and potentially reduces the value of the gun. In this case I think it did as the asking price is $600 including the suppressor and I doubt he'll get that for it.As fun or practical certain things maybe being FUGLY sometimes just aint worth it.
Yea this pic posted was paralling a thread on supressors and opinions about them.

That's quite an additional investment in an otherwise affordable gun. Wonder what compelled the owner to do that? You're right, though, about the odds of him ever getting his money back after such a mod.

Oh, I could suggest some things but I see a lot of similarly strange mods (both finished and proposed) on this particular forum.Wonder what compelled the owner to do that?
Lots of 'cross section' with the members has a lot to do with it.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

It is - and asking $600 - including the suppressor.I bet there will be a huge loss if its ever for sale
AND I agree on your ruined gun remark!
I 'might' be able to accept the reduction to 16" (but i would never intentionally do it myself) but the suppressor on it is a buzz killer!

I would think you"ve also made it harder to attract buyers.

600.00 is a dream and it would take someone with no sense to buy it because the entire thing to me makes no sense.
