Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Congrats, Al! Very nice wood furniture on that new Henry.
And I really look forward, along with other Folk I'm sure, to hear how it shoots for you.
Yup, you still have plenty of time before the holidays to get that brass model in hand, as well. ;)
Enjoy.

Sweet looking rifle! I am really liking the single shots. I think I'm going to have to have one.

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

BEAUTIFUL, Al, Congrats! Like PT said, fantastic looking furniture!

For me, a single shot in 20 gauge sounds cool, but a single shot rifle in the right caliber causes an itch as well.

I like the pistol grip of the steel models.

Can't wait to hear how it shoots for you! Keep us posted and Congrats again.

Way to go, Al! Really nice rifle. They came up with the caliber you wished for; but, you'll find they're addictive ;) .

Love the looks of that Henry single shot, especially the wood.

You know, even if I don't get on of these new Henry single shots, I am grateful to Henry for bringing out their line of single shots. As many of you know, I'm a single shot fanatic. Just can't have too many single shots on the market. Really helps to keep interest up.

although the only single shots I'm a fan of are muzzle loaders, I couldn't agree more .... the more "classic" style firearms available the better .... 8-)

I am a big fan of single shots. I even convert some of my rifles to single shot only. That 357 looks great and has nice grain in the stock. I wish they made that in 35 Remington. Something here would have to go for me to have one. The single shot Henry's do more for my taste in rifles than any thing they have made in a while. What is the twist rate on the 357?

Bandit
Its 1:16. I haven't got to shoot it yet maybe this weekend. I thought about one in 30-30 but I don't need another caliber. I'm hoping one will show in 38-55 but I'm not sure whether its going to be a levergun in that caliber or a single shot. Anthony would not say. Al
