Here she is I picked her up after work and I am hoping to shoot this week end.

I plan on hunting deer and target shooting. I may start reloading for it but I have to buy new dies I sold mine years ago so for now I will try some factory stuff I have. Winchester 240 jhp and at the moment I don’t recall the other box. I do plan on trying some lever revolution in it.

That is some very sharp-looking wood on your stock, brianpa! At least an A+ level. Beautiful photos.
And that wrinkled brown paper is also a wonderful sight out of a new Henry box!
Congrats! Hope your .44 Magnum shoots excellently and that you have much fun with it. :D

purely for information, here is a link ===> http://henryrifleforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=4479 <=== to a thread that details the load we use and gives trajectory info .... if you decide to use Lever Revolution factory ammo, be advised that their cases are shorter than standard .... they need to be reloaded with Lever Revolution bullets
