I missed this thread as I really hadn't jumped in with both feet when it was originally posted, but, WOW, that is probably the best looking woodgrain I've ever seen on a Henry.

The single-shots seem to have generated quite the following over the past 6-9 months, so I'm circling back with you who have picked up the 223 to see how you like it, how you've scoped/sighted it, what ammo you're using, any range stories, etc.

I'm one of those who favors a "wide but shallow" assortment, so I'm looking for a caliber I don't have, and the single-shots seem so nicely put together that the value is tremendous.

Anybody have any 223 tales to tell?
