Henry Single Shot

Post by grizzly » Tue Oct 25, 2016 7:59 pm

Didn't know if anyone was aware. Looks like they are coming out with a single shot Henry rifle and shotgun. Fast forward to 20:25.

There was an interesting discussion earlier this month, Grizzly, about Henry shotguns. It was introduced by Daytime Dave.
If you haven't read this one yet, here it is: http://henryrifleforums.com/viewtopic.p ... it=shotgun

Yee Haw! They look a lot like the old H+R single shots. Which is now out of business since Remington bought them. I wonder if Henry bought some of the tooling. I also wonder if Henry will be doing replacement barrels like the old H+R's. One rifle is a couple of calibers.

I called Henry. Not much info on these yet.

Make mine a brass receiver and I'll take 1 in 44 mag and one in 45/70! Octagon barrel would be even better!

It really does look like a more polished version of an H&R. I'll be it is a good shooter!

losing the H&R line of rifle and shotguns was a terrible loses to the firearm consumers . love them or hate them they were a great value and got a lot of new shooters in the game , hope Henry can bring something like them back,

I have an old breaktop DA revolver. Nothing fancy about it but it is a great shooter.

Very interesting. I have a single-shot H&R in 45 colt and it is a lot of fun to shoot. I would certainly be interested in a Henry single-shot of the same caliber.

If they would just drill and tap them, it would be even better.

I'm gonna bite off on the brass 20 gauge.
