This question has been posted in the past. As I recall, some members reported interchanging some barrels, successfully, while others did not. Pretty much boils down to the individual barrel on a particular frame. The important thing to note is that Henry does NOT guarantee or advertise barrels to be interchangeable, nor will Henry recommend trying it. You are on your own with this one.
To be honest, I completely understand why Henry takes this position. As a shooter with thirty years of experience shooting TC Contenders and Encores with barrels in a series guaranteed to be interchangeable, I had many instances where there were problems fitting a specific barrel on a given frame and for a variety of reasons. Great feature when it worked, but a real headache when it didn't for both the shooter and TC.
