As I noted in my original post... :D ... yup. These are those same folks. Way before they started making chainsaws, they were known for quality firearms. Some were engraved presentation grade hunting pieces. Others were everyday working pieces.
And motorcycles... the "Husky" in the 70's for off road was an icon on the Motocross race circuit with it's red gas tank and chrome "knee slapper" panels.

They also made bolt action rifles that sold under the S&W name as models A, B, C & D... beautiful rifles.

That Stevens sure is purdy. I'd like to find one of those. I have a fondness for old Stevens.

There seems to be quite a few of the Husky shotguns at gun shows around here in the last couple of years. i haven't looked real close. I'm not a shotgunner really. But they've been common enough to notice.
