I’m a large loop guy through and through, but I think I’d leave that one as is. It just looks “right” as is. I’d say what you need to do, is buy a Small Game Carbine. That way you get the large loop in a package deal, and in that configuration, it also looks right!

I have a Small Game rifle and love the large loop lever and peepsight. I used to have a Norinco lever action with a standard lever but I like the big loop lever more.

Personally I can live with the 'semi' large loop - the one that looks like the bottom tang of the lever is bent - but the basketball hoop looking one destroys the lines of a lever gun - especially a Winchester with their typical trim & slender design.

The larger loops - too much room for my hand. I prefer the tighter Standard lever hand/finger fitting inside.
