Carp on a spinner

Post by JayZuv » Wed Sep 18, 2019 9:05 am

Went fishing yesterday along a creek near me. It runs all the way out to Lake Erie, so you can find pretty much anything in this creek. So, I’m casting a small vibrax spinner for a while, with no luck. Mind you, I have nothing with me aside from my rod and a backpack with a few lures. All of the sudden, my little spinner gets slammed... by a huge carp?? I couldn’t believe it, and was now trying to figure out how I am going to land this 15ish pound carp that I have on my line with no net or anything of the sort. Sure enough a handful of people walking along the trails next to the creek see me fighting this fish so now I have a whole crowd of people watching me wrestle a carp. Needless to say, I ended up very muddy, and the bystanders got some good entertainment

Gotta love a carp fight.

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Sadly tucked away in the gun cabinet at home! The creek lies on college grounds and weapons are strictly forbidden :(
