Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry

Out again yesterday

Freshwater saltwater Lakes, Ponds, Rivers, Streams talk about the ones that got away. Show us the ones that didn't.

Out again yesterday

Post by BrokenolMarine » Thu May 09, 2019 9:42 am

Finally got the chance to get the kayaks out of the boathouse again. I was checking the fit of a two inch ball in the new coupler I had installed, when T came out and suggested we give it a real test and tow the trailer to the lake and fish for a couple three hours, if I was up to it. :D

I was. We got what we needed and headed over, and got to spend about forty five minutes on the water before mother nature discovered we were fishing. The skies turned dark, the thunder rolled, and we paddled for shore. We made it home and got everything put away just before the sky fell. we lost power and the genny kicked in briefly, but no biggie...

Tina caught four small bass in that short time, and I had a nice roll at the mouse fly. No pics.. I'll do better next time.
Great to get out on the water again.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
