Another fine day in the Rockies.

I have been in Leadville for the last three days. Have fished some. Great day today, about a dozen fish. What a beautiful area.

Great to hear and "see" whenever someone is enjoying their days, Cofisher.....the scenery and the fishing, too!
Keep on enjoying! :)

Sent 15 fish home with brother. I have been doing well with bubble and fly. Tomorrow will be special. First time out with kayak on a mountain lake. Chose a small lake with easy access, important. Hoping for minimal wind. Things are shaping up for a fine summer.

Going after those rascally trout. A beautiful morning to practice staying dry in the kayak. This is getting fun. Only about a fifteen acre pond, but full of fish. Caught and released about 10 fish. 12” size. All on a bead head Wooly Bugger.

Ah, that sure brings back memories. Thanks. Have fished those mountain lakes a lot in my time. Always tried to get out at first light. Usually about midmorning when the wind would kick up, almost on schedule to the minute. Hope you're escaping the heat, too. We're having record heat, up here in the north woods.
