There's some good looking water in those photos, folks. A few years ago I got back into trout fishing after spending a good 30 years on the dark side of fly fishing (saltwater). Lots of great memories of various trout streams, but one always comes to mind. There's a couple of mountain streams up near Camp David in the Catoctin Mountains in north central Maryland. Back in 1978 Jimmy Carter invited the Egyptian President and Israeli Prime Minister to the retreat for some peace talks and our DNR stocked the heck out of the local streams with some monster trout just in case the dignitaries wanted to fish. For a couple of weeks the fishing was just incredible, right in the middle of terrestrial season, sight fishing for 3-5 pound browns and rainbows. The only down side was we always had an escort of a couple of guys in dark suits watching us from the woods.

If you think fly fishermen are strange, try talking to a mushroom hunter.
