Not fly fishing

I sold my farm in Tn . My pond there was 1.50 acres and 26 ft deep and spring feed . This is the normal size of the fish in there .

Camping tonight at Glendo Reservoir, about an hour north of Cheyenne. High water due to runoff. I am fishing the North Platte river tomorrow. Then, on to Denver. Grandpa duties await.

I did a couple day trips to a small local lake. Took the dinghy and trolled for several hours. I hooked 13 crappie on a jig. Fish dinner tonight!

Long Pine creek? Fished it many times. There are some bruiser Browns in there, but they're seldom hooked and even more seldom landed. Beautiful country. Miss it and all those wide open spaces, terribly.

Just finished a dinner of deep fried Crappie bites, rice, and spinach. It doesn't get much better than that.

Thanks for the great fish photographs.
I caught thousands of bullheads growing up and during summers when I was home from college – sometimes as many as 60 or 70 in a night. Wonderful memories!

I could be mistaken, but those whiskerfish in the sink appear to be channel cats.
