Striper, fishing the Hudson river

Post by biglever » Fri Apr 14, 2017 11:30 am

The first reports I have seen , says a couple fish have been landed up at the troy dam.
River is still very dirty ,from all the rain. But the water temp has come up to close to 50 degrees.
Haven't seen any docks ,put in at the launch's yet.

Are you ready once the docks go in? (I say, knowing the answer I think)

Been out twice, got white perch on the herring rig, and 4 cat fish. On cut bait. Just had rain again last night.
And that screws the river up again.
Nobody I talked to, has got herring yet.
