Hudson river stripers

Post by biglever » Mon Apr 03, 2017 6:48 pm

The water temp. Has made a nice jump from 39 degs
To 43 today. Rain is in the forecast for the next four days
Which will turn the river into mud. Not good for fishing
None of the locale docks are in yet , so launching a boat
Won't be fun .
Won't be to long.
This is my biggest striper , from at least 10 yrs ago or more, not the best pic. Was printed out on regular printer
Paper. And has been hanging on my toolbox so it's messed up.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

Biglever that qualifies as a "lifetime" fish. Congrats it's a beauty.

Yup, every yr they catch a 50 lb'er in the river but it's a lot farther south , than were I travel. I honestly don't remember how much this one was , didn't Wright it down
I think it was around 42-43 lbs. They are a lot of fun to try
To get back to the boat.

Wow! Congratulations! That is one fine looking fish. I'm not an angler, but I can imagine the pleasure it must give you to land something that large. ;)
